Episode 20: Conversation with Angel Marrero

Orlando, LGBTQ issues in the church, and Mission Development

The Reverend Angel D. Marrero is a gay Puerto Rican Lutheran priest working in the Boston area developing a new latino worshiping community Santuario in Waltham, MA.  Padre Marrero had two moving articles on Huffington Post about the shooting at Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.  It was both the deadliest mass shooting by a single gunman and the deadliest incident of violence against LGBTQ people in U.S. history. Pulse was hosting a Latin Night and most of the victims were of Hispanic descent.
